Great looking bass! I also have a Japanese Mustang, however mine is in fiesta red! The stamps and markings you presented, look like the ones I have on mine. Another dead giveaway are the smaller tone pots they used in these basses. At some point they even sold separate control plates for the us market, for people who wanted to switch their pots to a standard sized pots!
