Mustoria??

Checking out the new Fender Meteora in BP mag I liked it's looks and design. A medium priced dual humbucker with both passive and active options, and with a less cumbersome headstock... But what most impressed me was the new body design that (BP says) creates a bass with absolutely no neck dive!) ~Hey, this could well be the new shape of Fender basses for some time to come then, right?
And if it is, then how about Fender you slap a 30" neck on it with a 9.5" radius and a 1.5" nut so we Mustang and other various short scale lovers can finally get our long awaited Mustang of the future? -A Mustoria?
(~And then maybe even another one after that with a P type 32" neck as a MeteoJag?)

NO neck dive, from a FENDER? -Sheeesh, it's certainly about time!! ~Make it short scale, skinny necked, and you got me....

It's being discontinued next week as no one is buying it because it doesn't look like a Fender.

Bet you're wondering if there's an implied smilie right now, eh?

Well, good... Then maybe the price will drop and maybe also there'll be so few sold they'll become collectors items in just a few years and we who do buy them will get rich! ~Why do you think they're named Meteoras??
