I think this might be a good place to start with my search!
I am looking for a particular case, or manufacturer of cases. A friend of mine made a custom pedal board out of one and it is the coolest thing since sliced bread!
Problem is, i am not sure on how to search for it as i dont know the proper name for the case, or who made the case.
Things i DO know are that it was once a case for some sort of MXL branded microphone.
Looks like a standard aluminum flight case. like this one [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
BUT...and here is the kicker...it has 4 clasps on it. In place of what would normally be 2 hinges on the opposing side of the case clasps, it has 2 more clasps. This enables the whole lid to be removed. Its like a tiny flight case for an amp...but it looks like a mic case.
Any idea on who might make these? We want more!!! Ill try and get in touch with MXL, but they are closed til monday...
