Does anyone else use one of these? I got a good deal on one in the classifieds. Missed having a Wah/Filter so I figured it was worth a shot. I was always a big fan of the 105Q and i guess this pedal implements a similar circuit. I played around with it a little bit tonight and it just about nails the auto wah sound I have in my head. Only thing I have yet to play around with is the phaser type circuit you can blend in. I just keep the blend all the way off for now. All in all, great purchase on a whim.

I’d like others experience with this pedal.

I love the BAQ - only recently sold mine because I got a wild hair about a bassballs and I have a mutron type one in mind for the future anyhoo - but that MXR is just great and letting the envelope fade into the LFO is magic.

Yeah absolutely.

I owned the bass version 4-5 years ago and I recorded a few clips with it, but can't locate them, so I listened to the MXR video. I remember liking the way it sounded, but didn't keep it long because I could only get one sound that I sorta liked, but still not quite the sound I was looking for. Lots of plus sides though: tweakable, blend knob, volume knob (which I personally found very helpful) and it's an MXR :). I also owned 2 different BEF units, which I thought at the time sounded similar to the BAQ.

I've had this and the Jacques Trinity Wah. I kept the Jacques; I just think it sounds richer and more organic, though it's comparatively darker and not as resonant (it doesn't have a "Q/Peak/Resonance" control). I get all the resonance I need from my Q-Balls, though.

Still have mine because I have yet to find anything better that is smaller to replace it. I have a snow white bass auto wah but doesnt sound as good IMO. I don't like the mxr bass envelope filter at all. Just not the same as an auto wah sound to me.

I had the MXR Envelope at one point. It’s not bad but for me I just like that Cry Baby sound. This pedal has that and some.
