MXR M-88 Octaver

Well I have been looking at this pedal, and was wondering what everyone thought of it.

Does anyone have sound samples of it.

I think it's one of the best octavers out there. Tracks really well and doesn't take up much pedalboard real estate.

I must have a bad one, because it tracks ok if you're playing fast but if you hold a note for more than a quarter note at an average tempo, it breaks up. Maybe I should contact MXR.

it sounds INSANE with distortion, it's one of my favorite pedals. about the breaking up thing, if it isn't getting a strong enough signal, that'll do it. Make sure your sending it something that isn't too bassy or wimpy. If you don't have hot pickups, a compressor may be needed.

would a Boss LMB-3 Limiter/Enhancer count as a compressor, and what are hot pickups
