My Aguilar db112...DEAL

I just read an industry news article that these are actually from two containers of clever illegal Chinese copies made in the same factory that manufactures Behringer cabinets. Thus the super low cost!

You can tell the difference between the authentic cabinets and the copies from amount of space in the loop of the L. The real cabinets have a 1.2mm gap, the copies have a 1.8mm gap.

I'm joking. :) This thread fizzled out, thought it could use a boost.

Here is my rig from this weekend...

That's a 60's era blackface Fender Bassman head. 40 watts of pure glory. I've got a '68 drip edge AB165/AA864 Bassman hybrid which I use for guitar. It's absolutely incredible.

Well, after playing through my twin Aggies for 6 weeks or more, I have revised my initial assessment. At first, I felt the tone was only so-so compared to my GB Uber 410. The lows were killer, but didn't have the high-end punch that the Uber does. But of course they ARE two different animals.

Anyway, I'm not sure if playing them for 6 weeks has "opened up" the tone a bit, or whether I'm just getting more used to them. But either way, I'm really enjoying them now. Our band has been on a hiatus due to some problems with our drummer; but it looks like we're gonna' start back at it after the Christmas holidays. So far, I haven't gigged them; but I'm anxious to see how I like them when we do. But the bottom line is that I'm really liking these babies...

Loving the Aggie tone here too. Syrupy sweet, and ballsy as can be. Enough mids and highs for my old-school ears. I don't miss the tweeter. Hot deal indeed. And I'm even getting used to the green! :)

Ha! Yeah, I was surprised by how nice it actually looks. And it actually worked out well for me because my guitar amp is a limited edition Fender Deluxe in - you guessed it - green!

Mine are still boxed up- haven't had a chance to open them and put them through their paces yet.

Anyone with a DB750/751? There's a Monster Green head case on Amazon (3rd party seller) for $96.53 here

I traded with a guy who got in on this deal. I wanted to sell something. I got two new-in-the-box cabs (that I didn't know anything or care about) plus cash. Little did I know that these cabs would KILL!!!

I needed a smaller rig for an upcoming tour. So I nabbed a Genz Benz Streamliner 900 and dusted off these cabs that I had stored in my garage. I'm blown away!! I thought I was a "15s guy" but I am totally digging these 12s! Tour starts in a matter of days. Hoping to get these cabs broke in by then. Either way, happy camper here for sure!
