If I remember correctly, Michael Anthony used his Ampeg Rocket 50 to record the first few Chickenfoot albums. That's a pretty good testimony I think?

He did, and Wolfie VH used a mic'd B100R for his clean tone on "A Different Kind Of Truth".

I have had a pair of B100Rs for years - definitely worth fixing, IMO. A few years back, there was a guy on eBay selling NOS circuit boards. I still regret no buying one just to keep on hand. Shouldn't be too big a deal to revive, providing the board itself isn't damaged.

I've had one since 03, and I'd love to restore it. I also intend to pick up another one, someday. My concern wouldn't be the dollar value, it would be that they're awesome amps and worth keeping them running. I would be pretty sad to lose mine.

They bought the spare parts inventory when SLM sold Ampeg.

The B50R arrived back at Guitar Center, Illinois and when I called I was able to talk to a live person about it. He's going to ship it to my home address. Good news and I am excited again.

As I recall the B200R came after the B100 and B50R's I think the only difference was the power section. The Preamp and Speaker Enclosure were the same.

The 200 has a tweeter.

B 200 R Cab is a little bit bigger
