My band, The Shut-Ups, released a lyric video this week for one of the songs on our newest album this week. "Big World" is one of my rare times manning the fretless bass (a Peavey Foundation), and I think it turned out well - very cinematic in scope for a pop song. I'm curious what y'all think.
It's part of a series of songs our BL wrote for a major label teen-pop project a few years ago. The songs were rejected, so they were retooled and played by a bunch of dudes despite all protagonists being young women. It's an interest mix / clash.
(Trivia: Half the songs are on old Peavey basses!)
