My Bass Central Experience

I made the two hour trek from St Petersburg to Fern Park to find a backup bass for my Sadowsky NYC 5..
I was thinking of a 5 string Sadowsky Metro or a PJ of some sort.. I played a bunch of basses and ended up with a US Lakland 55-94 I like this bass so much that the Sadowsky may become the backup.
Thanks to Perry for suggesting I try one of these basses..and for being patient while I played half of the basses in the store.
I am very pleased with my Bass Central experience and highly recommend them to my fellow TB'ers.
If you're ever in Florida you need to pay them a visit. There is a ton of stuff in the back warehouse, so if you don't see it in the store that doesn't mean it isn't there.

Or if you see it on the website, it probably means it might be sold...

The bass I bought from them almost a year ago is still listed on their site and not indicated as sold. To top it off, it has a sale price which is not what I paid, so they have obviously updated it.

Thats pretty poor site maintenance, unless they have another bass that's exactly like the one you bought. If its a solid color finish, then it's possible.
But if its a natural finish, you should be able to tell by the grain pattern in the wood.

And how is the current price different? Is it higher or lower than what you paid?

It's my exact bass and I can tell by the natural grain pattern. The sale price is lower than what I paid.
