My bass cheat sheet

Thanks for posting that I did not know Dummies had a site. I do enjoy having everything on one sheet of paper. Because I think in chord tone intervals; on the copy I saved I added this text box to the right hand side of what Dummies had. Help yourself.
Code:
[b]Basic Chords[/b]
Major = R-3-5-8
Minor = R-b3-5-8
Dim = R-b3-b5-8

Major 7 = R-3-5-7-8
Minor 7 = R-b3-5-b7-8
Dom 7 = R-3-5-b7-8
½ Dim= R-b3-b5-b7-8

[b]The Major Modes[/b]
Ionian's pattern is the same as the Major scale
Lydian # the 4th
Mixolydian flat the 7

[b]The Minor Modes[/b]
Aeolian's pattern is the same as the Natural Minor scale
Dorian # the b6 back to a natural 6
Phrygian flat the 2
Locrian flat the 2 & 5

[b]Solo Scales[/b]
Blues = 1, b3, 4, #4, 5, b7
Minor Pentatonic = 1, b3, 4, 5, b7
Major Pentatonic = 1, 2, 3, 5, 6

Love charts.

I use the grimoire and this is confusing when comparing the two. For example, the cheat sheet contains 5 patterns for major scales while the grimoire has 7. the patterns also don't line up..as far as the grimoire has the notes stretched out more..ex: pattern one on the grimoire for a D major would have the D played on 10th fret, the E on the 12th and F# on the 14th fret of the E string, while the diagram on this sheet would have the D played on the 10th fret of the E, the E on the 7th fret of the A string and the F# on the 9th fret of the A...am I saying that correctly? The notes and scales are the same, but patterns are different.
