I was leading worship occasionally a year and a half and two churches ago (due to moves, not any sort of problems), and we had the same problem. I really wish we could have used it then.
We have tried the mind-numbingly bad Casio keyboard drum beats in the past. We all agreed no drummer was better than those beats. I'm excited about the possibilities with this pedal.
Pedal arrived Saturday. Sounds fantastic through my studio monitors. Will try it next week through the PA. I've already disabled the intro fills. The double click ending is really awkward for me so I have set the left switch as a single click outro/ending. That's much easier. Great pedal. Sound is completely realistic and nuanced.
Im new to the game on this. Right now i create beats on my ipad via an easy beats app and its super fun but its limited. I saw the price tag on the BeatBuddy and thought, WOW, 350.00 for a drum machine? Then watched the video and read through the thread and convinced myself that its a necessity. Im heading out on a deployment for a couple months but plan on putting in my order when I get back. Id hate to order now and have it just sitting here while Im gone
I've used this pedal two band rehearsals in a row (praise and worship band at church) when the drummer hasn't shown up for practice. I arrived to practice first and was playing alone (bass and pedal) when the guitar player walked in and looked around with a confused look on his face and said, "oh I thought (insert drummers name) was finally here."

But you never once let us hear the pedal. How can this be called a review? These "reviews" are all over the internet. People review basses without playing them. WHAT!?!
Thankfully I was able to skip around and see that I was only going to be listening to this guy talk in a dull, monotone voice, and not waste the full 18 minutes.

The sound quality of YouTube is atrocious anyway. You can't go by a YouTube sound/vid-clip to go buy something, by and by you've got to kiss some dosh bye-bye to try one yourself and decide whether to keep it or say bye.
Finally decided to take the plunge and get the BeatBuddy. I just got it today but from the little time that I've got to play with it, I have to say that I am very impressed.
I have a high end Denon receiver that I run into two 2x12 guitar cabs for speakers. I hooked up the BeatBuddy to the aux in of the receiver and wow, does it sound good!
