All my power amps get a compressor assist clean-blow out yearly. Some also have dampener, directional baffles that direct air flow across heat sinks and other components. They can deteriorate over time or become dislodged and need to be checked.
You should always clean the fan blades as well, dirty ones shorten the lifespan and can cause unbalanced noise/bearing issues.
Stored electronic components can be subject to potentiometer issues if not in low humidity, temp controlled environments, they can oxidize and cause intermittent signal path issues.
