I've been moving forward and trying different things. In the process acquired several Fender Rumble pieces and my GT-1B.
Right now I'm working on playing out either myself or as an acoustic duo. TBH it's looking more like a solo act.
Yesterday at work I was talking about this situation and the need for a looper. I have the boss that I know has a decent looper I've never used, and an old digitech delay pedal I bought in the 70's.
After researching the pedal I knew it wouldn't serve as a looper. I got home and plugged my guitar into the Boss, made a simple loop and practiced some leads while scrolling through the effects. I was doing it for a few hours and had a ball lol.
I was happy to see most of the effects seem to work well with a Fender knock off with passive inputs. I may have tried active Pickups at some point and I don't think the results were as good.
In any case I feel like I'm in business as far as the looper. I'll Definitely need and use it for practice and am hoping to use it while playing out.
Last night I just had a ball. I always say I'm not a huge gear guy, I try to only buy what I need, well the Boss was a great option for the bass, it'll do so much more than I'll ever use it for...
Also thrilled I'm very happy with my electric guitars through the rumbles they seem to work fine
Does or has anyone else used the GT-1B with guitar ? Have you used it to play out ?
Thanks,
Joe
