They're brass colored. Up close, I sure can't tell.

Its pretty obvious to those of us who stock and use the golden Upton adjusters. The gold anodizing has a pretty distinctive colour - if you put one of Upton's beside a brass adjuster you'd see the difference right away.

Its pretty hard to tell from a cell phone image though...

I have those adjusters on my bass. Just shows what I know about metal. I trust I could tell the difference next to a brass one, as you say, but without a comparison, I wasn't sure I could identify the metal outright. In any case, I like the anodized adjusters.

I'm just impressed that it didn't blow up as soon as I played it.

I'll make sure to bump this thread every few months as long as the bass is still alive though.

I haven't been here on talkbass in some time. It's good to see that so many are still "hammering" away at our favorite instrument. I've had my bass five years now. Had to re-glue a few sections after one year. Same as my Czech bass after 6 months. Georgia humidity is a killer. Other than that it's fine. This year I've been outdoors in the heat and humidity and after the initial problems everything has been fine. I haven't posted any new videos in some time but will do so soon. Keep up the hard work "T"!

Hey guys this is T-zone, I got a new account cause I forgot I had this one! Anyways, the cheap plywood Chinese upright still works great and it sounds pretty nice! Just updating everyone. It sounds like a cheap plywood but it's workable.
