My Dingwall Prima 6 IN PROGRESS!!!!

Hey guys,
Thanks, I also think that it looks amazing.

That is the only pic I have of her complete, and it is a little fuzzy, which really changes the way the woods look, as you can tell from the previous assembled body shot. Sheldon is gonna take a few more pics of it, tweak it a little, and then send her off.

Once, I get back home, I will do up some sound clips for you guys to have a listen, I just have to get some hook ups for my computer.

finally............. how long was the wait?
now the last few days wait must be like a lifetime

That picture doesn't do this bass justice, its still gorgeous, but its like a bad picture of Gisella. You know shes killer, but just how much......

When you figure out how to make sound clips -can you teach me? you gotta hear the Ding fretless.

Hope exams went well. School out down here

Geoff is selling both the JP and the Dingwall? why? :hmm:

Going back to 5. That and I have too much money invested in these basses for what I'm playing anymore. They were nice in the Jazz group I was in, but I'm looking for a different style band now and these just don't fit that well.

Cheers,
Geoff

Just a beautiful instrument. What is the width at the nut and last fret? Maybe Sheldon can turn it into a wide-neck 5 srting. Looks like the dimensions may be like that of a Sadowsky.

It is already 18mm at the bridge. Putting only 5 strings on it would widen the spacing out to about 22.5mm. That is wider than any bass I know of. Warwick broadnecks are only 20mm at the bridge IIRC.
