My DIY Bass Amp/Cab Stand – version 2

How sturdy are those quick loc stands???
I have a Roland dbass210 that I would love to get off the ground. I would prefer to have it tilted but this combo is pretty wide in depth About 18 inches... The straight stands look like they could be wobbly.. Thanks

I use mine with my Roland DB700 combo, at it's lowest setting, and it is fine. Years ago, we used to use two of them to get our large Turbo Sound PA speakers off the floor. They do look kind of wobbly, but nothing has fallen off them, although I have never raised them up higher than 24". I believe they are rated for 300 lbs.

FWIW, I really like the stand, especially now that It's finished in Duratex. I've used it on a number of gigs already and I'm quite happy with it. As soon as the front panel gets painted with the band logo I'll get some final pics up.

Here it is after painting, ready for the next gig:
