My dream scenario for a wah pedal

Hiya!
So I've come to this: I want the perfect wah pedal
Dream scenario is that it includes:
1. A wah. Hopefully with a range knob or similar and maybe a vintage or tubesim button
2. A volume pedal, that let's you do a long and smooth fade in/out.
3. An expression pedal. Preferably with more than one input.
Why the hell not combine the three, when they all demand a tilting foot plate and a lot of space on the board.
I know there are ways to get around this issue, but I haven't seen the three combined.
Here's the thing. I have a Morley series II volume,wah, distortion, and to some extent it works quite well. But the foot movement is crappy. From volume off to volume full on there's very little movement, making a long smooth fade almost impossible to do. That off course goes for the wah too relying on the same mechanical limitations.
I've been looking around for something smarter and found the EBS WahOne, but it fails on a critical issue: you have to bend down and press a switch to get from wah mode to volume mode. Who has the time to do that during a performance?
My Morley let's me go from one mode to the other via a traditional stomp switch. That's the way to do it.
But I've never seen anything combining wah, volume and expression into one pedal.
Please direct me to one if you have seen it or someone build the thing

Well, the good news is that it's possible. The bad news is that DIY is the only real route. You'd need two jack for audio and one TRS for expression. Two stomp switches, one volume/wah and one to switch in as expression.

The easiest way to achieve this is with something like the expressionator going into a filter with exp in (I recommend the Xerograph) and a volume box (might have to make that one).

Thanks for the suggestions. Making a DIY is not really within my capabilities so I might just go ahead and dedicate the space these three functions demands. I'm still hoping for my own suggestion to be build though

You don't like the expressionator idea OP? It takes a single expression pedal input and has expression and other outputs, so you could control a low-pass filter for wah, other expression output, and you'd need to find an expression input volume module (you wouldn't want the whole peddle with the treadle, that defeats the purpose).

That seems cooler and more flexible than "hard-coding" the three functions into a single pedal/treadle combination.

You'd only need the expressionator if you wanted to control the wah and volume at the same time... otherwise you can use a simple passive A/B switch to switch between them...

The only pedal I know of that does all three is the DOD FX17. It is an odd pedal in that it uses capacitance rather than resistance to shift, but cool because this allows it to get a fairly large sweep from what is one of the smallest available rocker-style pedals around. Unfortunately it doesn't really do all the functions to perfection- tweaking the trimmers to do one of the functions well tends to make the others mostly unuseable (at least in my experience), the wah is a pretty unique and somewhat subtle sounding one and probably wouldn't be ideal as a main wah for most people, and the expression function is active CV control only- so it will work with pedals like Moog and some EHX and a handful of others, but not with pedals that require a passive resistance style expression pedal...

I really don't think you'll ever find a pedal that does a sweep that is ideal for both wah and volume (let alone expression) with the same range/sweep settings (at least not for my needs). The Expressionator does seem like a promising possibility for a modular solution, but might not end up saving you much more space than seperate foot pedals in the long run...
