Double Bass My Euphonic Audio rig is now complete!

I posted this over in the bg side of things, and sorry for cross-posting, but I just wanted to come over here as well and say that yesterday I won an iAmp 500 head on eBay. This will now run my two Wizzy cabs for what I think is absolutely the best doubling rig on the planet. Well ... okay, the best doubling rig I've come across, knowing that there are many setups I haven't tried. ;)

:bassist: :bassist: :bassist:

(Someone should make a DB smiley ... )

Cheers,
Liam

Congrats liam. Very nice indeed.

I'd be interested to see how you like the iAMP head vs. your Clarus for DB.

Do you use both cabs on any of your DB gigs? I would think 2 Wizzy's would be cool if you used one for you and one for say the drummer, assuming the venue was pretty durn huge that is and you're working w/out monitors and such.

Congrats! I'm really digging my iAmp800 / 2xWizzys rig, and I'm sure you'll do the same.

Bolo, you could certainly separate the Wizzys, but I can tell you that when you stack them, they really get beefy.

Thanks. Do you use two Wizzy's for your DB gigs? Pretty big halls I'd assume. My scene is mostly bars, restaurants, clubs, and the occasional armory outing.

When I borrowed a friend's iAmp 500 to demo it a while back, I liked it about the same as the Clarus for DB, maybe a bit better, but nothing dramatic. However, I like it light-years better than the Clarus for bg ... just no comparison at all.

Right now I generally use a single wizzy for db. I do have some loud country and rockabilly gigs possibly later this year for which I'll use both cabs, though ...

Cheers!
Liam
