Looking to put some flats, likely la bellas, on my epiphone eb-0 it's a 30.5" scale can I put a short scale set on it or should I be thinking a set of mediums for a 32" ?

Jason, I'm a big fan, and buy all my bass strings from you. I play primarily jazz-a lot in a duo setting with a guitarist. I have a Peavey Cirrus fretless 4, and have been considering Thomastik strings. Are they really as good as I hear, and which would you suggest?
