Some of his prices were on par with Strings and Beyond, but I noticed a good amount were certainly cheaper. Let's see if he can persuade me to switch! I'll place an order when I get my P-bass from Dan.
It would be cool to be supporting more companies ran by TalkBass members. The only two I'm supporting that I can think of right now are Dan Atkinson and Skip (Circle K). I need his strings for tuning LOW.

But always, feel free to contact me before purchasing if you feel the shipping costs are either too high or not accurate. Especially when ordering multiple sets of strings internationally. For 1 or 2 SETS, it figures the correct prices...
The shopping cart may not figure shipping cost accurately if you are purchasing 10 single C strings for example... It will figure for a larger sized box rather than an envelope... I have addressed this when I found items this applies to and am always working to fine tune everything to be accurate for everyone.
So I got my gaggle of LaBella strings yesterday; even though one of the sets was out of stock, Jason stayed in touch with me about it, and delivered my order on time.
Perfect, in my book.

Dan, that sounds awesome! Would you ever consider free shipping to all of North America in the future? Or even a special sometime? Don't worry, I won't cry if you say no!
It's cool that you're willing to at least work with the customer on shipping costs. Sometimes people/companies go with the most expensive route possible. I rely on the USA for a lot of my purchases, but sometimes I pass just because of the shipping costs.

I'm definitely ordering my next strings from you guys but I need to wait for my DR Nickels to die first, so who knows how much longer that'll take.
I ordered some Chromes last week, and was notified very quickly that hey were out of stock and expected in on Wednesday. Before noon on Wednesday they were headed to me and I got them on Friday. Great customer service, and I've never seen chromes priced this low!

This is excellent! I play strings that most stores, locally and online, don't carry. Additionally, I play unusual gauges.
I think I need to buy some strings now!
However, I noticed that the site doesn't carry Dean Markley strings, and those are my string of choice (but not Blue Steels). Is there any chance of seeing Markley's available on the site at some point?

I do not readily stock them yet, they take me about a week to get at this time.

Good to know. I dont trust paypal. And can think of absolutely no reason for merchants to use them if they accept regular cc's and debit cards.

But there are some customers who don't want to share their information with some who knows who from who knows where to buy a $2 knock off cell phone case from the interwebs... And if you just sold something and got a paypal payment, its an easy way to spend it too.
