My First Bass???

Hi, I'm new to bass. I have set myself a bucket list task of recording all parts of a song. I can drum just about well enough, play keyboard enough. I play guitar reasonably well and I want to learn bass. I've been looking for a while and I like the look of a 1988 MIJ '62 re-issue Jazz bass that's in my budget. It has Baseline6 pups and a Badass bridge fitted but the originals are included along with a fender hardcase. It's just under £800. Do you guys think it's a wise buy?

Hi Mr. Black welcome to T.B.
That's a good bass, nice upgrades and handy that the original hardware is included. The price is ok but MIJ Fenders are gaining popularity and you'll probably not lose any value over time. If it's in good condition.
Good luck - send NBD pics if you get it. :)
