I have visited Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Haifa. Next trip, Eilat! Tel Aviv beach is nice enough but I bet it's not as nice as Eilat.
Many in U.S.A. are far from cities where double basses can be found. It's a hardship!

Excellent. Get in touch with this person right away and get some info! They can probably help you better than we can.
It's not a fair comparison, because the Stentor has a carved top and will therefore surely have a "richer" sound.
If you're asking if anyone here has played both instruments ... if so, it's unlikely that he/she has played both instruments in the same room on the same day.
When I go into a shop, there might be several basses of the same model. Even among these, I will like one better than the others... the fact that they are made of wood, by hand, means that no two are exactly alike. It's possible that you could get the best Eastman 80, and it would compare favorably with a not-best Stentor. This is why we recommend in-person buying so strongly.
@LouisF suggested that you ask someone at Gear4Music. I agree but suspect that you'll hear a version of what I've written here.

I don't know whether you're asking a question or making a statement.
The model to which you link is a "hybrid" - it has a carved top and laminate back and ribs.

I understand that Hybrid suits me better
But I also understood that the entry price is $2300
It is much higher than Stentor Student >£1,312.50
In other words, there is a risk here and something suspicious than Laminate, the entry price of which is approximately $1500
A double bass player I especially like is Mr Eddie Gomez
Maybe someone knows what instrument he plays?

@eldad Eddie Gomez visited our school and used one of my office basses during his visit. He had a choice between a Shen SB100 laminate, a New Standard LaScala laminate, and my LaScala hybrid. He didn't even look at the basses. He said "pick the one with the lightest strings and lower the string height". I did, and he played it during his residency. He sounded exactly like Eddie Gomez at all times. (On a more personal note, he also signed my CD copy of Chick Corea's "Three Quartets", which is one of my favorite records and he just happened to play on it, but that's another story).

I read a lot
There are many offers on the market
But in my opinion (in addition to the double bass beginner's guide here on the website)
There is a limit to how cheap it can be
I have 2 options

to bass sedundates

Yesterday the double bass finally arrived
Fortunately, everything arrived unharmed
I'm just starting to discover a new world
The model I ordered is
Eastman 80 Double Bass Outfit, 3/4
The thing is I'm not sure that's what I got
