Double Bass my first double bass

I know nothing about Eastmans, but EVERYTHING I see on-line says the Westbury is carved. So - is yours? You should be able to tell by looking at the edge of the top and back near the neck.

The 80 is all ply, no?

That would be weird if you ordered a ply and they sent you a carved. The carved SHOULD be a much better bass (and about twice the price!)

Well, you are the one with the bass right in front of you. So you tell us. Is it made of plywood, or carved solid wood?
What did you THINK you were ordering?
You DO know the difference between laminated/ply, hybrid, and fully carved, don't you? Those terms were used many times over the previous pages.
What do YOU find when you google Eastman Westbury?

Or, you could post a bunch more pics.

I'm not trying to sound too snarky, but you are asking some pretty - uh - basic questions for someone who just plunked down a bit of coin for a large piece of furniture.

That's a laminated bass. Possibly the label is wrong.

It's an Eastman 80. The dealer (in England?) may be selling them all as Westbury basses.

The two basses in the ad are not the bass you got (Those are Eastman 200s). You ordered and 80 and got an 80... hopefully you didn't pay for a 200!
