Tonight from 9PM to 1AM. 4 hours of rock and roll cover tunes. :bassist:

I'm psyched to be playing again in front of a crowd and with a bunch of great musicians in the band. But it's been a while for me on stage, any tips from the more seasoned folk?

Just relax and have fun with it! Even though I've play at church for the past few years I haven't "gigged" since 1996 until I recently got a Thursday night gig at a local club. I've played the past 4 Thursdays, 2 sets from 8 PM until 11 PM.

It's a blast having fun with guys I've know for years. Just enjoy yourself.

Because there is going to be a lot of distractions, take extra time to set up your rig and get organized. Double check all your amp, pedal, and bass settings. Don't drink too much, if at all. You'll need to be sharp. Relax and don't get stressed. Have fun. Mistakes may happen, but if you act like noting happened, no one will notice. I hope your gig goes well.

Act like you know what you're doing, wait for her to ask you for a ride home then take her to your house instead. Other than that nothing else has changed in 12 years. :D

Thanks for all the advice everyone. Show was a big success! We had to cut our third set a few songs as we were running over in time. I had a ton of fun - definitely missed playing in front of a crowd.
