Nice! Congrats.
My only advice is to enjoy it and embrace it. Fretless isn't really any more difficult that fretted. The only challenge is that you will learn to play differently. Think that your fingers land slightly higher up the neck for the desired note. Learn to use proper vibrato and that will help.
If you have a decent tuner I find it helpful to practice with the tuner ON so you can look at the tuner occasionally to check your intonation. It will be fine, I promise.
Playing on your own you may not realize when you are slightly flat or sharp. But when you play with others you will learn to correct very quickly. The tuner helps with this and also encourages you to not stare at the neck.

So hello to everyone!

Today was a bit weird day. At first, everything was standard, until I ran into ad - fretless bass.

I called a guy and everything seemed fine with a story he was telling me about a bass. Long story short: I got into a car, drove few hours there and back, and plugged it into my amp and started jamming.

Although it is a Harley Benson guitar, a fretlessbass is a totaly new ride for me. So, please lay some advices and smart word on me: strings, setup...

Congrats! My advice is to have fun with it the way you got it for a while. I wouldn't rush into new strings and setup until you find things you don't like about the current setup. Personally, I've always played round wound strings on fretless bass guitar. I've got a 6-string fretless that came with flats, and it's took a little getting used to. I may decide to stick with flats, because even a diehard round-wound player can admit maybe he just does things out of habit. They sound pretty good! But I do miss the zing of rounds.

Anyway, whatever you do, just have fun!

I've been doodling it a bit yesterday and today, watched a few videos, and then doodle again.
Playing a fretless is such a trill! I've realized that because of different string thickness, "frets" are not in straight line (as on standard bass), but they are different throughout the neck.
Strings are such an amazing difference and fun compared to classical bass strings.
The only weird thing is shifting from jazz bass body to that small best bass body. Specialy because I play with fingers, not pick.

Btw - details on this guitar are amazing. If I didn't know, I would think it's an at least 500+ € bass.

I owned a HB fretless for a while, even did some recording with it. Great little bass for the price. My only complaint was the lack of shielding. The electronics would pick up the local country radio station. I do solo some bass tracks so people can hear it for a good laugh.
