The plan:
1. start with my squire affinity jazz 5
2. re rout the body for string though.
3. shield the cavity and re wire with high quality pots and quarter pounders.
4.Fill and drill the headstock for a new set of tuners (4+1 set up)
5. get a laminate top for the headstock in a very plain maple color OR paint it in an Olympic white to mach the body.
6. Apply "fender" decal to headstock and call it a day.
But first i need some help.
my questions:
1. what is a good bridge i can get for not too much money that will accommodate string through?
2. what is the best method of filling holes on the body (structurally and tonally)
3. should i go for the laminated headstock or should i paint it?
