Just got my Spector Euro bolt 5 from Sweetwater. So my impressions so far.
Great:
1. The QC is very good, I mean it's an absolutely beautiful bass.
2. Never had Aguilar pickups before and they are definitely a more traditional sound than say my Dingwall. I think they sound great and really came alive with a pick. Also, absolutely dead quiet with no buzz
3. The inlays are stunning, just beautiful and love the style.
4. Frets are flawless with no sharp edges at all.
5. Massive bridge.
6. Adjusting the preamp gave me what I consider the classic rock tone from a Spector.
7. The tobacco burst impressed me it looking like a tiger eye gemstone.
8. Body cut is one of the best I've ever seen and it sits beautifully.

Not as great.
1. Very thick and chunky neck. Luckily, I have a Steve Harris pbass so I am ok with it, but really did expect a slimmer sharp.
2. Wish it came with a better gig bag. At this price point, I really think it should have a case, or at least a high quality gig bag. My Dingwall came with a great bag and is in this price point.
Gripes:
1. The action is very high and don't think Sweetwater did a very good job setting this up, going to take it in for a pro set up and then will take it from there.
2. String height was not set correctly at all, way too high for my comfort. I admit that I like very, very low action.
Overall, very impressive bass and SW gave me a great deal on it. Was a demo model, but see very few imperfections. My dogs approve and one decided that she needed to be in the pic
