my first visit to OT

flagged, false dichotomy

You know, you might be right. Because some people that have no sense of humor don't realize that they have no sense of humor and stick around just argue with people that they do have a sense of humor. They spend time contributing details to otherwise nonsensical conversations with facts about scrabble, yet failing to admit that they are closet scrabble players alongside out of the closet dungeon and dragons players. So a nonsensical poster might contribute something slightly unrelated about pooping, asian chicks, or his complete lack of pride, sending the thread in to a spiral of derailment, and some the aforementioned poster might talk about the good old days and contribute a post to the level of discourse of OT. He might grumble and say things like the legendary Qintar is merely a figment of your imagination generated from a scrabble game. Another poster who is lacking a sense of humor might post a +1 and then reminisce about the good old days and complain about all the kids ruining the level of discourse in OT, even though he's younger than the poster that derailed the thread with the aforementioned poop comment. So to sum it up, yes the dichotomy might appear false, but it exists. You simply forgot to account for the grumbly people that love to argue. You'll meet them soon enough. Right Brucey? ;):ninja::hiding::p

I am continually amazed at the caliber of people that post here on OT. Doctors, lawyers, school teachers you name it. If you need qualified advice you stand a good chance of getting it. You'll get more BAD advice but that is the nature of the internet. Besides the bad advise is usually cloaked in humor and that is why I stay. :)

This is why I use the tree. ;)
