My Frist Bass

I have been playing Guitar over thirty years and today Saturday SEPTEMBER 19, 2015 I was presented with a Bass Guitar. While driving this morning we a home with trash out front and to my surprise there was a bass guitar there. I yelled to my wife STOP the Car! I grabbed the instrument and we drove off.all day long I searched to find out what kind it is and drew a blank. The bass sports a Bass lines active pick up with Schaller machine heads, a birds eye maple fret board and fiber optic side markers. The only problem is two frets on the "G" String. There is not serial number or any ID at all... except for a Christian Fish with two note at the top as a logo. I would love to know more about this axe... I wonder if someone can help...

Set painted neck, Schaller tuners, upper horn looks Warwick-ish, lower looks Ibby-ish, lower body offset kind of like a J, LED and/or fiber optic fret side markers, SD pickup, some sort of onboard active pre (SD too?). I'm intrigued. Seems that it is likely a project build, but I swear I've seen that headstock insignia before, maybe in the back pages of a magazine. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Looks like it was drawn on with black and silver sharpies...

This!!! After 30 years on guitar myself it only took a short while before I was hooked on bass more than any time on guitar. Now i've got 4 basses and have more fun than ever. My guitars are now neglected and any more than 3 or 4 songs on guitar and my fingers start to hurt........

I actually love the look of that freebie bass. It's got to be at least decent...... you wouldn't put those machine heads on a piece of crap.

lol the way I pictured your story is hilarious.... you spotting the bass, barrel rolling out of the car, jumping in the back while the car is still moving and booking it out of there....

Anyways to contribute to the thread, it looks to me like either a custom job or someone took the parts from a bunch of import basses and put them together to form a superbass....

Duh... the title even says: it's a FRIST bass.
