My GC experience

Isn't this standard for instruments purchased at GC?

I don't know how the GC's are where you others are, but here they have a tech on hand that does very good set ups for you. I'd imagine the other one's have tech's that are capable of doing this as well. So IMO/IME there is no reason to purchase a bass, take it to a tech somewhere else and pay to have a setup done on it when you can get the initial setup done for free by GC. I'd be very hard pressed to believe that their techs aren't qualified to do a set up.
