so i have one of the coolest basses on the planet. it sounds and looks amazing. it's the gretsch 6072 long scale bass. think white falcon bass stripped of all the falcon-ness. it has the stock filtertron pickups in it. lately though, i've noticed that when i'm playing a show and really digging in, i get this nasty clickity clack sound that doesn't come through my amp, but does make it to the front of house. i've had a couple different sound guys tell me this and i've noticed it myself too. for now, i'm going to run a sansamp bddi between my pedals and my amp (parallel out to the amp) and send a good signal to the house. this sound weirdness happens when i play with a pick and with my fingers so i don't feel like it's a technique thing. it also happens when i take my pedals out of the chain as well. i was thinking about swapping out for some tv jones, but i can't find reviews of them anywhere. i even searched in this forum. so what do you guys think?
