Thanks. I just wanted to post it to maybe inspire someone to build one too. I built it in my home garage with minimal and homemade tools. Did alot of studying before I started

Thanks. Yes this was my 1st attempt at building a guitar. I have a fender jazz bass special and a p bass, both 4 string. I've been wanting a good 5 string so decided to build one .
Yes, it´s a homemade bass guitar, but it was made by a master professional luthier...

Thank you. I used wood dies that I borrowed from a friend, which I had no experience with. I only had few color to work with so I used purple, yellow and red to make the brown I was looking for. The purple is still on the guitar.
Fantastic first build and love the tapered neck through stripes, I suppose you used some sort of jig for that. Great job.
