My latest design

Hi everyone!

Recently I made this bass:

Its a 32'' scale, with a sucupira reclaimed neck, and Kaya mahogany 'wings'.
Its a single pickup and a single volume..

There is a video of its time lapse build:



I guess its a love or hate kind of instrument.
I did do it in the spirit of the Great Guitar Build Off competition so if you like it you can vote for it in the link bellow, and even if this is the only bass in the competition do go check it out there are some really cool builds there!

I really like the pickup surround too. Cool, unique design. Congrats. It's NOT boring. The neck looks very nice.

One of the things I used to do when building instruments from scratch was build them to fit into a specific case. My guess is you had to build the case, too.

That's certainly original, and nice. Have you ever stabbed a bandmate with the tail?

I would have to guess it has Pretty good sustain?
Acoustic instruments , all the magic happens behind the bridge.
