My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

I watch it with my daughter (shes 18). Her & her friends love the show. The show is not bad, it is still written for young kids, but well written. It has no real adult appeal or humor in it, to me. Still its not bad. The opening theme song makes me want to hurl.We fast forward through that if I'm watching.

I enjoyed Power Puff Girls more.

I enjoyed Foster's more than MLP and... well.... prettymuch anything else on TV.

You talk about it like it's the plague... It's a show. A show a rather large amount of people obsess about to an alarming extent, but a show nevertheless. And as far as "childish" goes, you seem to be very into anime. I don't see how liking My Little Pony is any different than liking any anime show.

You don't like MLP, fine, that's cool with me. I really don't like anime. I don't think liking anime is childish. We have different tastes, that is all. ;)

No way, it's still aimed at kids, but is well done & does not insult your intelligence, its a cute show. No way in the league of Adventure Time.

My daughters watched My Little Pony once or twice. It proved how much better the Disney stuff is - at least I could see it twice without having the urge to destroy something. Definitely high on my program-as-definition-of-dreck-and-never-to-watch-again scale.

I switched to Ren & Stimpy...and the girls watched Doug, Rocco's Modern Life and Angry Beavers.
