Did you have the maple fingerboard finished? Most are... But with that wenge neck I'd probably want it oiled. Did you do that? If so, where does the oil part meet the finished portion of the FB?

No. I don't think the maple fingerboard is finished, it has no high polish or anything else on it.. i suppose i could of it had it done, but really liked the idea of 'dry' look and feel if you know what i mean.

The combination of maple board with the ebony top - very striking and unusual. Nice wood!
