My new design looks like a fish

So..no fish on the market after all..
I took the classic Spector euro shape, but as it sits in this picture, redesigned it with different contours and proportions, and of course a lot smaller than the original size since it's a compact headless, and also no body curve on this one.
Maybe I'll do a swamp ash curved body similar to this as a test.

I really gotta try making one of these bodies. I liked playing Steinbergers and clones, but the hard edges always bugged me. This one is a very attractive organic shape. What's the distance across the body on the lower bouts?

If only there was some kind of event coming up to motivate me...

It is 11cm on the narrow side, 17cm across the bridge area.
Here it is with BD and BB barts, they actually look good both combined on the same bass!

There's also this plan for a 28" scale fretless headless, with a brick shape body:
No pickups on this one, only piezo mic under the bridge.
And fret slots are filled with clear thick super glue.
