What is the point of getting a rear routed fender body which is rare and offered on limited models to just slap a hunk of plastic over the top. Fenders look good without pickguards.

Very cool! I know the GL necks are loved by many, they're just a little boney/squirly for me. I'd probably opt for the Duff Harris model, I guess there would be no blocks though.
