Yea, you can get a mild overdrive at low volumes. When you turn up the gain, it sounds aggressive, but not unnatural. I'm gonna go try it out with my friends Q5 right now so see how it goes with active electronics.

I don't think I'll replace my BassDrive, but this pedal does complement it quite well. It's a balls-to-the-wall sort of pedal, more aggressive than the Fulltone, heavier, and really has a nice solid bottom end to it.

sounds good. in line with the samples. I was never 100% happy with the Bassdrive, so heavier with a solid bottom end sounds great.

3 week wait. black box blue led.

Well, it sounded a little weird on the Q5, but still really good. I think what made it sound a little weird was the EMG's that are in the Q5. What electronics do you have in your bass?

Still, not that aggresive and boomy as Ibby PD-7 Phat-Hed in distortion mode .. I'm gonna leave'em both I think

Thhat thing loses bottom end like crazy. Sounded nice though.

But it sounds pretty much thesamey, even though I used my other bass. Anyway, you won't get much more different sounds from this pedal than those I showed in my first sample.

I've got two on hand and both sound just like the samples. And as noted above, just tell him you're looking for the OD pedal and choose your colors and he should hook you right up. It looks like he's up to a three or four week wait now though.

Edit: He calls it "Helter Skelter", but he's the only one who does. He doesn't care what you call it.

Yeah, I've even considered setting one of the Polish Loves to a milder drive and the other to a grungier sound and taking my BassDrive off the board.
