I noticed that you plugged both speakon connectors : does that mean that your speakers aren't connected to each other ?
What's the reason ?

It is actually a company called "Line-X" out of St. Louis, where I live near. It was about 1/8'' thick, and pretty much had no influece on the weight of the box. I had it professionally sprayed on for $100.00. For $50 more, I could have had it done in any color of the rainbow. I wanted a totally even consistancy, so I sprang for the pro job, but you can buy the stuff you roll on yourself at Wal-Mart.

Your build looks stellar by the way, I really dig the old school road case look. I thought about something too, since you were having rattling issues with the latches for the "cover" piece why not just have the catches on the cabinet and keep the latches on the lid? No vibration issues then.
