Yes, front helps. There's a lot of buttons and switches on that thing.

I have the same electronics in my Stambaugh, it's very nice.... you will like it a lot. The funny thing is... the bass sounds the best to me in single coil mode with just a little bass boost... everything else flat. But... all the knobs and switches look cool!
