Here's mine next to my real 3-band Stingray. Picked it up on ebay for $100 and installed a home-built Stingray 2-band preamp and I dare say that is sounds better than my real 3-band Ray. Also did some dressing of the frets and changed out the pickguard. I noticed that the bridge was mounted a little bit crooked from the factory but there wasn't anything I could do about that and it doesn't really affect the setup so I left it as is. Overall this is a killer bass for about a $150 investment.

Great collection mcnach. I picked up a OLP MM2 just like your black one but I still have the white pick guard on mine. I love the look of yours, to me the white pick guard just offsets it and putting a black pick guard just looks not only classic but sexy...I'll probably change mine too.

Picked up my OLP for 100 bucks It sounds sweet.

Me too (mine was demo unit from GC)

I love it, but it desperately needs a nice 'ray preamp. (It's passive)

If i get a decent preamp in it, I'm sure I would play it much more than I currently do.

(Mine looks very much like OP's third one, but without metal plate)
