My P pup lost output

I have a VM Jaguar with the p pup and a J pup,I took the pups out removed the covers and painted them, I did this leaving all wiring intact,I put it all back together and now the p pup is not working,all the connections are good and intact,any suggestions on why its not working now,the J pup is fine...

I didn't disconnect anything all I did was pull the covers off plastic covers off the pups..

well do a Resisterance/Continunity test from the Pickup and work your way down the Line.. Im guessing there is ever a break in the Pickup itsself or its gone to ground at some point

Set the meter in the lowest KOhm range on the DC side. You should see over 3-KOhms from the pickup.

I'm betting you damaged the winding on that pickup when you removed the cover. It's quite easy to do if you're not super careful.

Don't think so,I didn't even touch the windings the covers came off pretty easy,but I'll check...
