My pedal shelf

I thought you might enjoy a peek at my pedal shelf. I don't have or use a pedalboard, as I mostly play at home or in the studio. When I do play 'loud' I tend to grab a couple I'm currently enjoying at the time. For this reason I tend to like pedals that offer battery power and I'm not bothered by size.

The shelf has morphed and changed a lot over the years, and this is the latest collection. I may need to take over another shelf if I end up with any more.

Current faves depend on the bass i'm playing:

Thanks, I just watched all of that and see it's one of a series. I love hearing about people and their equipment and I can see some new shelving ideas too.. one day I'll replace my cheap IKEA bookcase with something more fancy!

I really like the Bass Juice. It has a rather buzzy sound which cuts through really nicely and at low drive levels really warms up a sound. Plus it has my favourite feeling footswitches!

That looks really nice, classy. I was aiming for the same sort of thing, using plants and books in the display, but then there was no longer enough room! I might need to raise my game.

i'm in the process literally today of making the shelf itself for mine - sick of using boxes/digging up what i need.

the wood i'm using was taken from a building my dad worked in on madison ave in manhattan, build in 1928. hopefully it comes out thread-worthy and i'll post pics.

That Cool Cat chorus is probably one of the most slept on chorus pedals of all time. In fact, all of those OG danelectro pedals were pretty great. Is that the 9v or 18v version?

here’s mine, it’s much more crude and inelegant. I have the skills of an 8th grade woodshop student. They’re all plugged-in and playable though. It’s divided into 7 loops, accessible on the floor.

Wow these are great, let’s see some more! If I wasn’t so bad at putting up shelves I’d probably arrange mine on the wall like some of you have.

It’s great, I’m not a huge chorus fan but the cool cat just works. It’s the 18v one I have. I’m going to try the Daddy-O at some point when I see a cheap one. I’ve heard good things.
