Someone taped our show from last friday, so I figured I'd share it here since it features heavy effects usage. Here is the board I'm using:

I love it I put a NOS 60's Telefunken 12ax7 in it and it really makes a difference

About the effect used near the end of that solo, is BEF before or after distortion effects... or are you even using the SA BEF on that track?

Thanks alot! That is the bef on the solo on track 3. It is after the oxide.

Listened this morning....just NASTY!

Yeah, that solo you took on track 3 was sick. The Cubic on the first note of RAD was nice. What are you using on Sky Pirates? I hear the octave but something else is with it...BEF PRO? Now I have to check out a Cubic. Nice use of the Franta on Seben!

Thanks basehead! I got a little shreddy on the solo (no way not you!), but the crowd was getting into it so I got lost in the moment (love it when that happens).

For Sky Pirates it's just Oc2 until the bass break. At that point I have the dry oc2 in a parallel loop and in the other loop I'm using cubic>tafm with gate engaged>befpro with a very slow attack>Xero D with the exp parked (until the key change then I start sweeping with it)>FrantaBit degrade mode>polytope>nimbus. That song is insanely fun to play.

The FrantaBit solo on Seben was my guitar players idea. I forgot to turn off the tafm so it doesn't sound quite as clean as usual.

I love all of the xero play in the set. Seriosuly great tones throughout your set! Let me know if the band ever makes a trip to Philly

Haha. Was your question because that was unclear from my post? If so, then yes. For the style of bass I play with this band it is needed and fun.

If your question was because you were trying to be snarky then I would probably say just stay out of the effects forum.
