Big fish eats little fish. New little fish move in and innovate in ways that a big fish can't. I see more innovation than ever...Baer, Xsonic, Greenboy designs, Big E and so on. Bigger companies can accomplish economies of scale. Little guys can work niche markets. The between guys always have a hard time: need expensive support (mid level management and similar) yet aren't big enough to wrap up the big distribution deals or take advantage of the mass production savings.
