My Schecinbacker!

I am evenutally going to replace the bridge because the stock one I got ****in sucks and the saddle on the G string keeps falling off when I change the string. So the only reasonable spot I could think of putting on is inbetween the Two pickups. I'm super leering about this bass because its my baby and I dont wanna **** it up by tweaking it and ruining it or somethen. I had an Idea but I need some advice or knowledge from you guys. This bass used to be a Active bass (I hate active and dealing with batteries) but I took the EMG pickups out and changed all the post to make it passive. Is their any secret pot and some kind of electronic that I can put in the place where the battery used to sit (Which is just an open compartment in the back of the bass) that I could wire to the high gain pot to make it more lead sounding or the give the distortion a lead guitar sound? I figure you can't install a pickup in their because It's behind the wood where ths strings are and wouldnt be able to do anything because it's not under the strings but is their anything I can install in their to mod my bass to my sound I want? If anyone is confused I'm trying to make it where people think its a lead guitar playing but really its a bass (With distortion goin like cliff burton did).

NCB,

What did you do with the original EMG Hz that the schecter came with?:D
My 04 came with the house brand pups. I wish it had the EMGs.:crying:
BTW those pups sound and look great!

Thank you! I have the original sitting in my drawer at home with the pots It came with, you want em? I'm not going to use them I can gaurentee that. I heard you can tweak the electronics in them to make them sound awesome but I never was a fan of EMG.

Yeah a Gibson EB0 and a Jazz pickup also. I actually tried messing with that but eh I'm not sure about it. I bought a Aria Pro "Cat Bass" Off of ebay for 100 bucks. The body was fine but the electronics didnt work so I swapped out the pups with a Gibson EB0 in the neck position and a Rickenbacker neck pickup in the bridge. It turned out ok but I still need to mess with it. I loved the neck on it so thats why I decided to mess with it. it's my project bass. Here's what it looks like, a little ugly but I made it work. Sounds great with distortion:

Ill take the pics and post as soon as I get my bass back. I am about to pop I am so excited. I feel like I just won the bass lottery! :bassist:
