my small clone(s) hate me

I am very annoyed, my small clonepedal has broken and this is the second time it has happened, the first I exchanged for this one, can someone explain to me what is happening? is my aactive bass killing chorus pedals? I had the digitech pedal for a year before that started to die on my (checked battery and everything) and these pedals have lasted barely a week, even though they sound great.

with the first one when I pressed the button, no signal came out, with this one, the sound remains un-altered no matter what instrument i use, guitar or bass, and what settings i use.

I've recently returned two Small Clones for the same reason. If you can, you should return it. Good luck.

Get a Fab Chorus. Amazing pedal for the money. As long as you don't stomp on it, it should be fine. And if it does die, you're only out $15+tax.

Although my Small Clone works just fine, I'm aware of the [lack of] durability for some EHX pedals.

That's why I'm looking forward to the new EHX Nano pedals; if the new phaser and chorus pedals sound similar to (or better than) the Small Stone and Small Clone, they'll have an eternally recurring customer on their hands

Considering how solid the new Little Big Muff is, I'm pretty sure the Nano pedals will hold up to relentless stompers.

my ehx pedals did the same thing when the batteries were low/dead.

i changed the batteries and even tried the recommended power supply.doesn't matter now, traded it back for the digitech synth.

Is the bass an 18volt active bass? I read on Harmony Central for one that people thought their Mini Q-trons where getting blown by the juiced up active basses.
