MY SWR LA15 JUST STOPPED WORKING.

Light turns on, but absolutely no output. Not even when you hit the pickups or the jack. I lent it to a friend to use as a PA, but other than that it has been used strictly for bass. Anyone knows what to do?

Did it work after you got it back?, or was the last time you saw it work before you lent it to your friend? It's easy to imagine it getting abused being used as a PA.
I'd pull the speaker and make sure it's still connected to the amp, then check the speaker to see if it's blowed up.

He didn't gig it, and only used it for vocals. So I don't know.

Hi.

Unless replacing the fuse doesn't fix it, I'd vote for tech time (might be pricier than the amp itself though).

Perhaps on Your friends expense.

Borrow your friend's PA and use it as a bass amp.

He let me now as soon as it stopped working.
There are no hard feelings I just don't know what to do.
I need a bass amp and I have no money to repair/buy a new amp.

sounds to me like your friend mis-used your amp, and should be responsible for replacing it.

If I borrowed something from my friend and broke it, I would be responsible for repairing it. To hand it back broken with just a 'sorry' is BS. I would recommend not loaning anything to that friend, and I would question that friends character and upbringing.
