hello guys i ama professionalle bassiste from italia! my basse is sounds like a very bad word. It is a FENDER! absolute so bad!! fender make a sloppy bass now. Change the pickup (to anything),
Replace all the potentiometers and capacitors. Install a high mass bridge and a brass nut. Then sell the bass at a loss and start again with something that has better tone.

I'd suggest using the knob next to the volume knob. If you turn it back and forth you can actually alter your tone. It's magic!
