My ultimate tube bass combo doesn't exi...

I know, I know: this wouldn't be practical to use for bass on most gigs. The power section would be woefully insufficient and if it didn't crap out the first time I tried to keep up with a drummer, the vintage woofer surely would.
I don't care; I just want this so bad! :wacky:
If I were a well-monied collector, I would be running this through checkout right now. If I knew how to build amps, I would construct my own version with 50 watts & a nice efficient woofer that could handle a single coil pickup. If I were famous I'd get Fender to do it for me.
Since I am currently none of those things, I guess I'll just keep on using my beloved 50W tube heads with the Bag End S-15D. They don't look quite as freakin' cool as the TV-style tweed combo. But they sound fabulous – and I guess they balance out better for the schlep.

OMG! If I lived within handoff range, I might be in real trouble. (I might be in real trouble, anyway...)

I dig the tweed...!

So, for those with one of these beauties, are you utilizing the "modern" channel...?

I kinda feel like Fender should offer a similar all-tube combo, but with a few changes; ditch the second channel, add a Master Volume, and add a tweeter with variable output control on the back panel...

Or... OR...! Maybe a 100W all-tube 2x12" combo...!?! The all-new all-tube Fender Big Twin...! ;^p
